It was a time for a royal celebration as Mysuru royal family scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar wed Trishikha Kumari of the Dungarpur royal family of Rajasthan with traditional pomp at the Mysuru Palace. Exchanging rings was part of the ceremony that is performed at the wedding. Here, Yaduveer slips the wedding ring onto his blushing bride's finger.

Trishika looked like a traditional South Indian bride in the yellow silk sari and adornments, while Yaduveer looked every bit the dashing young prince that he is as they performed one of the many rituals during their wedding.

In another ritual, Yaduveer and Trishika together offer puffed rice to the auspicious fire, as family and other priests look on.

Another ritual saw Yaduveer hold onto his bride Trishika as the priests chanted prayers. It melts out hearts to see just how shy the couple looks.
