67th Parle Filmfare Awards South: Black Lady winners with a golden voice


The music award winners at the 67th Parle Filmfare Awards South 2022 put together a wonderful show as they enthralled the audience with their golden voice when they came on the stage to collect their award.

Singer Anuradha Bhat, despite being sick, sang Dheera Sammohagaara (from Bicchugatthi), the song that fetched her the Black Lady. Raghu Dixit, who won best playback singer for Maley Maley (Ninna Sanihake), sang his most favourite song Preetiya Hesare Neenu from Happy New Year. Vasuki Vaibhav, who received the best album award for Badava Rascal, sang the fast-beat title track from the film, taking audience for a fun ride. Tamil singer Dhee, who won the best playback singer Kattu Payale (Soorarai Pottru), sang a line from the song. But she wasn’t allowed to leave the stage immediately. On popular demand by the audience, she also sang Enjoy Enjaami song, which won a standing ovation. KS Chitra, who won the award for Theerame (Malik), repeated it on stage, which only left the audience craving for more. Pushpa 1: The Rise was undoubtedly the most popular in all categories as both singer Indravathi Chauhan and singer-composer Devi Sri Prasad crooned Oo Antava Maama, separately, when called the collect the award. Indravathi was so into the song that she couldn’t stop herself from singing the music bits of the song too! Rapper Arivu took the crowd by surprise as he rapped Vaathi Raid on stage, which pulled the curtains down for the musical performances.
