Video first, CD later for Nataraja Service

The makers of upcoming Kannada film Nataraja Service, starring Sharan and Mayuri, tried out a new way of popularizing the music of their film. Considering the reach online, director Pavan Wadeyar says, 'Today, physical sales of CDs has reduced a great deal because just about every song is available on the internet in no time. What we usually do is release the music album of a film and then gradually release the videos of each of the songs online.This time, we decided to reverse the process. We first released our songs online, and once there was a demand for the CD from our audiences, we decided to have a formal launch for the release of the music CD.' Puneeth Rajkumar, who has sung a song for the album composed by Anoop Seelin, was the guest of honour at the launch that was held over the weekend.
