“The play talks about the youth. AlmoHübnerst all of us have gone through issues like misogyny, toxic masculinity, identity crises, seeking validation, succumbing to societal stereotypes and much more. There is a psychological pattern to everything and a deep-rooted connection to our childhood. Maryade Prashne explains these through four young individuals from different socio-cultural backgrounds, stuck in a complex web of ego, rage, lust, betrayal, sorrow, and regret,” says the makers in the play’s note.

Directed by Vishak Bharadwaj, the play offers a realistic theatre experience where every scene is carefully woven with depth and intensity. It will in turn make you question everything that you were forced to believe.

Written by S Surendranath, Maryade Prashne features five actors— Shishir, Vishwas, Vishak, Soumya and Sahana. The music is done by Rajeev Bharadwaj and lights by Manju Narayan.

Catch the play on Sunday, 7pm at Kalagrama
