Giving Gen Now an insight into Kannada literature

Based on two plays by Kuvempu titled Pundena Agni Sakshi and Neem Sathyavrathaneditam.The play promises to give today’s generation an insight into relationships and rich Kannada literature. The character Vali from Valmiki Ramayanam, in this narrative, turns out to be the one who longs for love and regrets his behaviour just before dying and wishes for a loving balanced relationship.The production uses Yakshagaana, Kalaripayattu and a Manipuri art form. Directed by Ganesh M Udupi, the cast and crew includes Sri Gajanana Naatka Mandali(Sheshagiri), Deviprasad erathodi, Siddu Kondajji, Ameer Patan, Siddappa Rotti, Harish Gurappanavar, Sannappa Goravara, Jagadish Kattimani, Prajwal Hombala, Ranjeetha Jadava and Anish Udupi.
