‘Maharaja’ Kerala box office collections day 3: Vijay Sethupathi starrer collects Rs 1.25 crore

Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi has made a massive return to the silver screen with his latest action-packed thriller, 'Maharaja,' which has been met with enthusiastic acclaim from Kerala audiences.

According to recent reports from Filmibeat, the film has shown impressive box office performance, even in Kerala, where it saw a substantial 53% increase in collections on its third day of release.

Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, 'Maharaja' has managed to collect approximately Rs 50 lakh on its third day from 382 shows, with over 30,000 tickets sold across the state. This impressive performance has contributed significantly to the film's overall earnings, which now stand at a commendable Rs 1.25 crore in just three days since its release in Kerala.

The Tamil action thriller features Vijay Sethupathi in the titular role of Maharaja, supported by a stellar cast including Anurag Kashyap as Selvam and Mamta Mohandas. The ensemble performances, coupled with a gripping storyline, have connected well with the audience.

Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, the film benefits from the collaboration of scriptwriter Raam Murali, cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman, and editor Philomin Raj. The captivating musical score composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath has also added to the film's allure.

On the other hand, Mammootty’s ‘Turbo’ is also shining at the box office with more than Rs 33 crores within 22 days.
