‘Padmini’s box office collections: Kunchacko Boban starrer passes weekday tests; mints Rs 1.31 crores

Amid controversies, the Kunchacko Boban starrer ‘Padmini’ has managed to make wonders at the Kerala box office as it has reportedly passed the Monday and Tuesday test and is running in housefull shows in cinemas on its fourth day.

According to the sources, the Kunchacko Boban starrer ‘Padmini’ has raked in Rs 1.31 crores on its fourth day run at the Kerala box office. As the film is getting good reviews, Senna Hegde’s directorial debut is expected to mint more numbers at the box office in the coming days.

Meanwhile, it was recently that the ‘Padmini’ producer, Suvin K. Varkey, raised some concerns regarding the lead actor, Kunchacko Boban, who was alleged to have made zero efforts in promoting the movie even though he took home Rs 2.5 crore. The producer even posted a story mocking Kunchacko Boban by penning a note that read, "Running successfully (With no promotion from the lead actor) in theatres near you."

Helmed by the director Senna Hegde, the script of ‘Padmini’ is penned by the writer Deepu Pradeep. The movie also has the actors Aparna Balamurali, Madonna Sebastian, Anaswara Rajan, and many more in pivotal roles.
