Despite new releases, the film maintained strong collections, earning Rs 56 lakh on its seventh day. On Friday, February 6, ‘Prakambanam’ had a decent collection, despite new Malayalam releases. There were new Malayalam releases on Friday; however, it hasn’t affected the horror comedy much On Friday, ‘Prakambanam’ earned Rs 56 lakh, bringing the India net collection to Rs 6.11 crore, according to Sacnilk. On the seventh day, the film made Rs 70 lakh. The worldwide collection stands at Rs 7.12 crore now. With the weekend here, the film is expected to attract more audience, especially youngsters.

Day-wise performance looks solid

On its opening day, ‘Prakambanam’ earned Rs 38 lakh. The unassuming film soon grabbed eyeballs, thanks to word of mouth. On the second day, the horror comedy saw a huge jump, with the box office collection hitting more than double, Rs 85 lakh. This was followed by a significant peak of Rs 1.4 crore on the third day. The week days, however, affected the collection, with the film earning Rs 77 lakh on the fourth day, followed by Rs 72 and Rs 73 lakh on the fifth and sixth days respectively.
