After a long gap, the Malayalam film industry has untied itself from the hands of realistic drama movies and entered the realm of complete action-packed mass masala flicks, and the recently released Shane Nigam starrer ‘RDX’ can be said as the perfect entry of Mollywood to the genre.

According to the sources, Nahas Hidayath’s debut venture has crossed Rs 60 crores worldwide and the movie is running in Housefull shows in the majority of the theatres in Kerala and outside. Movie buffs are now eagerly waiting for an official collection report announcement from the ‘RDX’ team.

Unlike ‘Ajagajantharam’ and ‘Thallumaala’, ‘RDX’ perfectly connects with the audiences due to its touching storyline and screenplay. With the inclusion of well-choreographed action sequences by Anbariv, ‘RDX’ marks Mollywood’s entry into the action flick genre.

As the film is getting highly positive reviews from the audiences, it is sure that ‘RDX’ will have a cake walk towards the Rs 100 crore club within the coming days. The weekend hold for the film is said to be really impressive.

Helmed by the debutant Nahas Hidayath, ‘RDX’ is touted to be a complete action-packed entertainer that introduces the Malayali audiences to the Nunchak fight. Coming from the makers of ‘Minnal Murali’, ‘RDX’ has really impressed the audiences. Recently the actors Keerthy Suresh and Udhayanidhi Stalin lauded the film’s team for their dedication and passion towards the project. Keerthy Suresh also mentioned in her Twitter note that she wants to watch the movie again in theatres.

Starring Neeraj Madhav, Shane Nigam and Antony Varghese in the lead roles, ‘RDX’ also packs a stellar cast that include Lal, Mahima Nambiar, Babu Antony and many more.

On the other hand, Nivin Pauly’s ‘Ramachandra Boss & CO.’ is turning out to be the disaster of this year from Mollywood.
