Varathan: A story Amal Neerad told Fahadh Faasil in their first meeting, six years ago!

Its been a week since the Fahadh Faasil film 'Varathan' hit screens, and the movie has been adjudged as an interesting thriller by audience and critics.
It was released also in the UAE recently and while speaking to a daily, its lead actor Fahadh said that 'Varathan's' was a story that Amal Neerad told him six years ago. That too in their first ever meeting! Apparently, since then, the actor always wanted to associate with the project and he expressed happiness over the way the movie has turned out.
'Varathan' has Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead and Sharafudheen as the villain.
