‘1744 White Alto’ teaser: Senna Hegde’s next promises a quirky crime comedy

Senna Hegde, who has impressed movie buffs with his National Award-winning film 'Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam' is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming film ‘1744 White Alto’.

The makers of '1744 White Alto' have launched an exciting and quirky teaser. Featuring Sharafudheen in the lead role, the teaser gives a glimpse into the dark comedy. Sharafudheen plays a cop, who along with his team is searching for a white Alto car, as the title implies.

The teaser promises an engaging crime comedy-drama ahead, and the glimpse has already impressed the audience.

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, Senna Hegde said, “This is a quirky crime comedy drama that has a bit of a road trip element, too, in it. All my movies so far have had their own sense of humour and have tried to present serious subjects in a light-hearted manner. But this film does not have a plot-driven story, it unfolds after a handful of quirky characters meet. The film has three narrative threads running parallely, and they interconnect at times with a bit of social commentary and humour.”

Sharafudheen plays the lead roles, while actors Vincy Aloyshious, Rajesh Madhavan, Arun Kurian, Navas Vallikkunnu, Sminu Sijo, Arya Salim, Anand Manmadhan, Sajin Cherukayil, RJ Nilja and Renji Kankol will be seen in supporting roles.

On the technical side, Sreeraj Raveendran has cranked the lens, and he has also co-scripted the film with director Senna Hegde. Harilal K Rajeev is the editor and the music is scored by Mujeeb Majeed. Melwy J handles the costume department and the makeup is done by Ranjith Manaliparambil. Nixon George has roped in as the sound designer. The film is slated to release in November.
