New film starts on a peaceful note

Mohanlal is also busy with his film work. The superstar is teaming up again with director Tharun Moorthy after the big success of 'Thudarum'. Their new film officially started with a pooja ceremony. The screenplay pooja was held at the famous Vaikom Mahadeva Temple. The working title of the film is 'L 366'. Reports say the shooting will begin on the 23rd. The shooting location is Thodupuzha.

'Drishyam 3' gears up for release

Mohanlal’s much-awaited 'Drishyam 3' is also moving ahead strongly.
The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph. It is confirmed for a worldwide theatrical release on April 2 this year. The release is planned around the Vishu festival.Mohanlal was recently seen in the pan Indian film 'Vrusshabha' which received poor reviews from the audience and flopped.Mohanlal also teamed up with Sathyan Anthikad for the feel-good movie 'Hridayapoorvam' which received good reviews from the audience and turned out to be a superhit. Mohanlal's massive comeback happened with Tharun Moorthy's thriller 'Thudarum' which received 3 stars from ETimes with our review saying, "Tharun, whose last film Saudi Vellakka won a National Awards, could have done better to have created a more subtle story; this very much has an ‘80s-’90s feel. For Mohanlal fans, his raw magnetism might be exciting, but with its loud and overwritten scenes, the acting lacks nuance all around."
