‘Aavesham’ box office collection day 5: The Fahadh Faasil starrer tops the charts among the other Eid-Vishu Malayalam releases

Even on the fifth day of its release, there seems to be no stopping for the Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘Aavesham’. The film continues to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative and solid performances.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film hit the big screens on April 11, during the festive season. On its fifth day in theaters, ‘Aavesham’ collected Rs 3.85 crore in net earnings in India. As the fifth day wrapped, the Fahadh Faasil managed to mint an estimated Rs 19.85 crore in net earnings in the Indian market alone.

On Monday, April 15, 2024, ‘Aavesham’ saw a Malayalam occupancy rate of 54.44%.

With this, the worldwide box office collection has soared to a remarkable Rs 42 crore, and the overseas collection has reached Rs 23.5 crore.

Fahadh Faasil is indeed one of the driving forces behind 'Aavesham'. His maniacal energy and solid performances, coupled with a compelling storyline, have led the film to success.

It is worth noting that ‘Aavesham’ has outperformed the other two Malayalam films, ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ and ‘Jai Ganesh’, released alongside it in terms of earnings.

ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Just when you think Fahadh Faasil—or FaFa—has aced some of the best characters he could possibly get in his career, he goes all out as Ranga in writer-director Jithu Madhavan's goofball gangster film Aavesham.
