‘Aavesham’ box office collection day 9: The Fahadh Faasil starrer inches close to Rs 80 crore

Fahadh Faasil’s latest release ‘Aavesham’ continues to captivate audiences and dominate the box office. As the film completes its ninth day in theaters, ‘Aavesham’ has collected an estimated Rs 34.15 crore in India net. On Friday, April 19, the ninth day, the film raked in an estimated Rs 3.70 crore net from India.

On Friday, ‘Aavesham’ recorded a Malayalam occupancy of 46.90%.

Jithu Madhavan’s sophomore directorial has made a worldwide collection of Rs 73 crore in 9 days. ‘Aavesham’ has amassed a staggering Rs 39.55 crore in India gross collections over the same period. The film also has managed to collect an impressive number from overseas. The overseas collection currently stands at Rs 33.45 crore.

Starring Fahadh Faasil, the film also has actors Sajin Gopu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Sankar, Roshan Shanavas, and Midhutty in crucial roles.
ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Just when you think Fahadh Faasil—or FaFa—has aced some of the best characters he could possibly get in his career, he goes all out as Ranga in writer-director Jithu Madhavan's goofball gangster film Aavesham.
