Actor Siddique becomes a grandfather as son Shaheen and wife Dr. Amrutha welcome baby girl

Renowned actor Siddique recently embraced the joy of becoming a grandfather. His son, Shaheen, and daughter-in-law, Dr. Amrutha, welcomed a baby girl on July 10, 2024.

The couple shared the joyous news on social media with a heartwarming photo of their newborn daughter's feet, accompanied by a touching caption from Dr. Amrutha: "Our home has grown by two feet! On 10/7/2024, we were blessed with the arrival of our baby girl 'DUA SHAHEEN.'"

The announcement, though made recently, brought immense happiness to the family and their well-wishers, marking a beautiful moment in their lives. Shaheen and Dr. Amrutha tied the knot in March 2022 and have since been a cherished couple in the eyes of their friends and family.

However, the joy comes amidst a period of mourning for the Siddique family, who lost their elder son, Rasheen, in June. Fondly known as Sappi, Rasheen passed away in a private hospital in Kochi.

Director Anoop Sathyan shared a heartfelt tribute to Sappi on social media, recounting his meticulous nature and love for orderliness at home. Sappi had a deep fondness for chicken dishes, a fear of darkness, and often experienced epileptic seizures. He found solace in the family library, his favorite place, where he surrounded himself with books.

Shaheen Siddique has carved a niche for himself in the Malayalam film industry, making his debut in the Mammootty starrer 'Pathemari.' Over the years, he has delivered noteworthy performances in films such as 'Sashiyum Sakunthalayum,' 'Oru Kadathu Nadan Kadha,' 'Sesham Mike-il Fathima,' 'Kadha Paranja Kadha,' and 'Kasaba,' among others.
