Actress Pragya Nagra shares first post after her private video leaked online: fans say 'Ignore negativity, grow higher'

Malayalam actress Pragya Nagra recently found herself at the centre of attention when unverified private videos of her were leaked on social media. The leaked footage quickly stirred controversy, but the actress wasted no time in addressing the issue, calling out the malicious use of AI to tarnish her image. After a few days, she shared her first post on Instagram.

On December 20, Pragya shared a series of pictures of herself in an elegant white chikanari kurta, and her natural glamour won the internet. Many shared their love and appreciation for her after the post. One of her fans wrote, "Ignore negativity, grow high," while another wrote, "After a long time ��."

Earlier, she had posted an update regarding her movie 'Laggam', which had recently been released on OTT.

After the leaked videos surfaced online, Pragya was visibly shocked and took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her feelings. She urged the public to ignore the fake clips, which she believed were generated through technology designed to harm. Her message read: "Still in denial, and still hoping that it’s just a bad dream that I will wake up from. Technology was meant to help us and not make our lives miserable. I can only pity the evil minds who misuse it to create such AI content and the people who help spread it!"



Hailing from a Punjabi family in Haryana, Pragya has made a name for herself in the South film industry, particularly in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. Initially pursuing an engineering course in Delhi, she reportedly developed an interest in modelling, which led her to start her career with advertisement commercials.

On the work front, Pragya has appeared in many films, including 'Varalaru Mukkiyam', 'N4', and 'Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna', among others.
