Mukherjee passed away due to kidney failure and as the ‘Adam Joan’ actress was her namesake a few media reported that Mishti Chakravarty passed away. The ‘Adam Joan’ actress took to her social media to clarify the same. “According to few #mediareports i died today �������� by god’s #grace iam hale and hearty and have a long way to go guys ..... #fakenews (sic),” Mishti Chakravarty said in the Instagram post. The actress also shared a screenshot of the fake news that she died on October 2, 2020, in Bangalore. The fake news was making rounds on social media after a certain section of the media got confused about the death news of Mukherjee with Chakravarty.

A few fans of the actress expressed their concerns about the same. A few were relieved that the news was fake. “Mishti mam... I was shocked by seeing this on google... We can't imagine a world without you that much we adore you. Love u a lot... (sic),” wrote a fan on social media.

Mishti Chakravarty is a popular actress who has worked in South Indian movies and also Bollywood. Her popular Bollywood movies include ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Begum Jaan’. The gorgeous actress made her debut in Mollywood with the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Adam Joan’.
