Ahaana Krishna expresses gratitude as she receives positive response from audience following the OTT release of ‘ADI’

Actress Ahaana Krishna has penned a touching note on Instagram to extend gratitude to her fans who have been pouring rare reviews about her film ‘ADI’ since its OTT release. ‘ADI’ directed by Prasobh Vijayan, featuring Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna is currently streaming on Zee5.

In a note shared on Instagram, Ahaana Krishna said, “Ever since ADI released on @zee5 few weeks ago, there’s been so so so many lovely messages coming my way. Even random Malayalis I met while I had visited London was telling me that they just watched the film the other day. It just made me so so so happy. When people watch and enjoy a work you’ve done with so much love and when you get to hear that from them , it’s just the most wholesome feeling and everyday I’m praying and hoping that I get to experience this wholesome feeling a million times over and over again!”

Her note further reads, “For everyone who told me you loved Geethika and the way I portrayed her , thankyou! I’ll remember your words on a dull day , so that it makes me smile! I loved playing Geethika. I loved putting on a little weight to look like her and trying little things that could make her different from how I looked and behaved on usual days. And when I look at these images of Geethika from different days , I do feel a certain sense of satisfaction because it’s definitely not the girl I see in the mirror everyday at home. Here’s hoping that I get to play more meaningful characters and tell beautiful stories that can give you memorable cinematic experiences!”

Ahaana Krishna also responded to questions asking why she does only a few films, “A lot of people often ask me if I’m not so interested in acting and if that’s the reason why I have done only very few films. �� All I can say is that , Acting is perhaps the thing I am most interested in and if I’m taking it slow , it’s only because I’d rather do no film than do something I can’t put all of my my heart into. And while I’m typing this , I hope a film-maker soon sees a beautiful character in me!”
