Aishwarya Lekshmi is a daring entrepreneur in Vijay Superum Pournamiyum
Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi’s next movie is with director Jiss Joy, with whom she has worked before for ads as well. In the project titled
Speaking about Aishwarya’s character, Jiss says, “Generally, when you speak about daring entrepreneurs, who try their hand at a variety of ventures, you think about men. However, Aishwarya’s character Pournami is a girl who goes all out to be that ‘trial and error’ businessperson. She has attempted many businesses, burned her fingers and acquired debt, but has still gone ahead to try other things,” he says. Her character is someone who inspires Vijay, Asif Ali’s role. “While Vijay is a laidback character, Pournami is a doubly positive energy bank, who wants to make every second productive. They are contradictory characters and the story has many elements of their tiffs, collaborations and more.”
Vijay Super refers both to the age-old popular two-wheeler and Asif Ali’s character. “It is also the nickname of Asif’s character and the scooter is a character in the film. It is something his dad bought when he was in Class 4.” Jis says the film has a lot more elements for laughter than his previous movies. “It is a family entertainer. Renji, Shanti Krishna, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha, Balu Varghese and RJ Joseph Annakutty Jose are part of the cast.”
The film also revolves around three families and has a message for girls and their families, he says. “But, it won’t be imparted in a preachy way. We often hear many instances in which families want the girls to be married off early and they resist. A subtle indication of the same also runs through the story,” the director adds.
