Aishwarya Rajesh joins Dulquer Salmaan's next
'Kakka Muttai' actress Aishwarya Rajesh has already secured a dream debut in Mollywood. After signing a Siddhartha Siva directorial with Nivin Pauly, the actress has taken up a movie with yet another biggie—Sathyan Anthikad’s '
While both her movies in Malayalam will have her sharing screen space with Mollywood’s young guns, Aishwarya is more excited about working with director Sathyan Anthikad.
“I usually don’t choose any of my Tamil films depending on the heroes but give priority to the script,” she says. “When they first approached me I didn’t know Sathyan sir was directing the film. All his scripts are brilliant. Once I got to know I will get to work with him, I said that I am in, irrespective of what that character was.”
The actress was on the sets of the film in Thrissur on Tuesday where the director had narrated the entire script to her. “He patiently explained each scene and that’s when I realised Vydehi was the soul of the movie. He told me that he wanted someone who could perform and that’s why I was cast. Getting to hear those words from him was great for me,” says Aishwarya.
With her character based in Tamil Nadu, is the role within her comfort zone? “As far as my body language and performance is concerned, it could be but I have to speak Malayalam in the movie and have to learn the language,” she explains, adding that her schedule will start from October 1.
