The Malayalam film industry is basking in the glory of its recent triumph at the 70th National Film Awards, where the film ‘Aattam’ clinched three prestigious awards. The film, directed by Anand Ekarshi, won accolades for Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing, marking a significant achievement for Mollywood. The film’s success has drawn widespread attention, including praise from Telugu superstar Allu Arjun.

‘Aattam’ has been making headlines ever since its release, thanks to its powerful storyline and compelling performances. The film follows the life of Anjali, a theatre artist portrayed by Zarin Shihab, who bravely reveals a long-hidden secret, accusing a renowned star who has recently joined their team of sexual harassment. Initially supported by her teammates, Anjali’s world begins to unravel as she uncovers shocking truths about those around her.

The film also had stellar performances by its cast, including Vinay Forrt as Vinay and Kalabhavan Shajohn as Hari among others. The film was directed by Anand Ekarshi and the editing was handled by Mahesh Bhuvanend.
