Alphonse Puthren returns to acting in Arun Vaiga's new film

Director Alphonse Puthren, known for his critically acclaimed films ‘Premam’, ‘Neram’, and ‘Gold’, is returning to acting in an upcoming project directed by Arun Vaiga. It will be the first time he appears in a film not directed by himself. Previously, he made a cameo appearance in his own films ‘Premam’, and ‘Gold’.

The announcement was made through a heartfelt video on Arun Vaiga's official Instagram account. In the video, Arun Vaiga expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Alphonse Puthren, someone he has long admired.

Arun Vaiga shared, "‘Premam' is the movie that I felt the most in love with. I don't know how many times I watched that movie. I wanted to meet everyone who worked in it, so Siju Wilson Bhai, Shabareesh Bhai, My Chunk Vishnu Govind all became friends. Now, Rajesh Murugesan is doing music in the new movie, and that too is a stroke of luck. Despite my efforts, I couldn't get to know the man who amazed me with his editing and direction. But the day has come. Alphonse Puthren did a cameo role in my new movie yesterday. He was in my mind when writing that character. It's a different feeling when our desires come true. He treated me like an old friend, like a younger brother. We talked about many cinema experiences and new ideas. I don't know how the day went by. The cinematography of the Arun Vaiga directorial is handled by Sinoj P Ayyappan and Arun Vaiga himself, while the music is composed by Rajesh Murugesan.

The film, featuring Ranjith Sajeev in the lead role, boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Johnny Antony, Indrans, Manju Pillai, Sangeetha, and others.
