Amala Paul to play forensic surgeon in her next film

After the massive success of 'Raatchasan', actress Amala Paul is busy with 'Aadai' directed by Rathna Kumar. The first look poster of the film was released recently and left the audience speechless. She is also busy shooting for her upcoming film ‘Adho Andha Paravai Pola’, directed by debutant Vinoth.

Meanwhile, the official announcement of her next film has been made and she will be donning the role of a forensic surgeon for the first time. The yet to be titled film will be directed by Anoop Panicker and is touted to be a mystery-thriller, based on the real-life investigations made by Kerala Police Surgeon Dr B Umadathan and the film was scripted by Abhilash Pillai.

The film will be jointly produced by AJ Productions and White Screen Media. Also, all the technicians who were a part of 'Raatchasan' will be working on this project as well. However, the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced. The film is expected to go on floors from March 2019, majorly in areas around Coimbatore and Chennai.
