Salim Ahamed's much-anticipated film, 'And The Oskar Goes To' hit screens a few days ago. The movie says the story of a struggling film-maker who is trying hard to make his debut and getting nominated for the Oscars! Actor Tovino Thomas plays the lead, Issakk.
Shot in different locations, including Los Angeles and Canada, the movie was screened at the
Alberta
Film Festival and bagged awards for the best film, best director, best actor and best actress, even before its official release.
The film also stars Siddique, Sreenivasan, and Lal in pivotal roles.
Madhu Ambat has cranked the lens and Resul Pookutty has handled the sound designing of the film with Bijibal as the music director. Rafeeq Ahamed has penned the lyrics for the song.
