Anjali Ameer to play a boy and a girl in film inspired by her own life

Actress Anjali Ameer is set to star in a movie inspired by her own life. The film, that’s yet to be titled, is to be directed by

Diney George

and it will go on floors before May.

Anjali says, “It lines up instances from my life and will be shot in Kozhikode, Coimbatore, Pollachi, Bengaluru and more. There are quite a few elements of suspense too.”

Director Diney

reveals that the film is a social satire. “The title will be out in December. It will be a commercial film. The movie also has the train as a major character. Anjali herself will be playing the stages in which she lived as a boy and later as a girl,” he says, adding that it will come out both in Malayalam and Tamil. The film's scriptwriter
