Anna Ben made her debut in Mollywood with Madhu C Narayanan’s directorial 'Kumbalangi Nights'. Despite being the daughter of popular screenwriter Benny P Nayarambalam, Anna didn’t get a starry launch. She bagged a role in ‘Kumbalangi Nights’ through an audition and was later roped in to play the lead in 'Helen'. Anna essayed the titular role and her performance earned a lot of praise. The survival thriller was made by a bunch of newbies and went on to become a huge hit.
