Anoop Menon turns director through King Fish

The movie was expected to direct by V K Prakash
Actor- scriptwriter Anoop Menon, who has amazed Malayalis with his impeccable performances and powerful scripts is all set to wear the director's hat through King Fish. The film that features Anoop and director Ranjith in the lead was earlier a VK Prakash directorial. The Praana director had to back off due to some other commitments. Malayalis are eagerly waiting for the Anoop Menon project now.

King Fish is a romcom that revolves around a modern-day king name Bhaskara Varma played by Anoop Menon. "People fondly call him Neymeen Bhasi and Naymeen’s Anglican word Kingfish is the title of the movie.”

Director Ranjith will play Neelakanda Varma, the Maternal uncle of Bhaskara Varma. “He is a whacky old-man with a happy-go-lucky attitude and the duo shares a fabulous relationship. They live a fun and frolic life and it has significance in the movie,” Anoop explains.
