Anu made her acting debut in 2013 through the film Pottas Bomb in a lead role. Later she went on to do character roles in films like Oru Indian Pranayakadha (2013) Anarkali (2013), Happy Wedding (2016), Marupadi (2016), Fukri (2017), Achayans (2017) and Sarvopari Palakkaran (2017). Known for her traditional Malayali looks, she made it big in the silver screen with the films Ramante Eden Thottam and Aana Alaralodalaral as heroine. With her beautiful eyes and charming smile, she is most popular for her village belle roles. But she has revealed that she never gets bored of portraying different shades of the ‘naadan pennu’. The actress is also a trained dancer. Dance is a passion, be it be any form, classical or contemporary, she has said.
