Anugraheethan Antony trailer looks like heartwarming fare

was launched on social media today and it seems to have romance, family drama and even a couple of adorable dogs to make for heartwarming fare.

The trailer shows Antony, portrayed by Sunny Wayne, as a layabout who seems to get serious about life once he loses his heart to a girl, played by Gouri G Kishan in her debut lead role in Malayalam. He starts dressing better - even his mother, played by Muthumani - is happy to see her son looking spruced up. But there is trouble with Sidhique, who essays his father, who seems less unimpressed with his sons - Suraj Venjaramoodu plays the older brother - than he is with his new dogs. There is comedy, tragedy and a bit of mystery to pique our interest.

Malayali film fans seem to be in an enthused mood, what with theatres too opening on Wednesday. The trailer which was released in the evening already has nearly 3 lakh views on YouTube alone.

The film is directed by debutant Prince Joy, who has short films such as Ettukali to his credit. The story is by Jishnu S Ramesh and Aswin Prakash, and screenplay is by Naveen T Manilal. The music is by Arun Muraleedharan to lyrics by Manu Manjith. Selvakumar S is DP and editing is by Appu Bhattathiri.

The music of Anugraheethan Antony is already a hit with Kamini, a mellow romantic number garnering more than 22 million hits on social media.
