'Anwar' re-release: Prithviraj Sukumaran drops the trailer of his 2010 fillm

Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Anwar’ is gearing up for a re-release. The film helmed by Amal Neerad, was originally released in 2010. As the film is set for a re-release with a 4K makeover on this Friday, October 25, Prithviraj Sukumaran has dropped the trailer. The re-release trailer, gives a sneak peek of what the film has to offer.

Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Amal Neerad, the plot of 'Anwar' is inspired by the 2008 American film ‘Traitor’. The film is also written by Amal Neerad. Featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role, the film also has Prakash Raj, Mamtha Mohandas, and Lal in pivotal roles. Actors Assim Jamal, Sampath Raj, Jinu Joseph, Sudheer Karamana, Sai Kumar, Geetha, Nithya Menen, Salim Kumar, Sreejith Ravi, Sasi Kalinga, Rajeev Pillai, Vinay Forrt, Mahanadi, and Shane Nigam are seen in some supporting roles in the film.

On the technical front, the cinematography is done by Satheesh Kurup. The editing is done by Vivek Harshan. The music is composed by Gopi Sundar. The lyrics are penned by Rafeeq Ahamad. The art direction is done by Joseph Nellickal. Tapas Nayak handles the sound design. The action is handled by Anil Aras. The costumes are by Praveen Varma, and the makeup is by Ranjith Ambadi.
