In a recent event,
Amala Paul revealed her favourite person in cinema - none other than
Arvind Swami.
The actress was speaking at a function of her upcoming Tamil movie - Bhaskar Oru Rascal - the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Bhaskar the Rascal.
Arvind Swami is her co-star in the film, and Amala revealed that acting in the film was like a dream come true for her.
If at all, someone asks me who is I like most from the film industry, I would say Arvind swami.
He is a great person, inside and out," she said.
Director Siddique initially wanted to cast Ajith, but later began discussions with
Rajinikanth to play the lead role. Finally, Siddique zeroed in on Arvind Swamy as the male lead and held unsuccessful discussions with
Nayanthara and then
Sonakshi Sinha to star opposite him.
In early 2017, Siddique selected Amala Paul and Nainika to play the other lead roles in the film.
