Asif Ali fans celebrate his completion of 11 years in the industry
It’s in the year 2009, through the Shyamaprasad movie ‘Ritu’ that Asif Ali debuted in Malayalam film industry.
Asif, who played a character named Sunny Immatty, who was best friends with Rima Kallingal’s character Varsha John and Nishan Nanaiah’s Sarath, impressed us too with his unpredictable yet loveable role. As he completes 11 years in the industry, Asif Ali fans have been celebrating his innings on social media through a special DP, dedication videos, posters and more. Asif, whose last released movie in Malayalam was ‘Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha,’ in which he played a character named Sleevachan, had received extremely positive reviews for his performance in the film. In the year 2020, he has a slew of films coming up including ‘Kunjeldho,’ which is the directorial debut of RJ Mathukkutty, filmmaker Venu’s ‘Rachiyamma,’ Rajeev Ravi’s real-life-based movie ‘Kuttavum Sikshayum,’ ‘Vellimoonga’ fame Jibu Jacob’s ‘Ellaam Sheriyaakum,’ director Sugeeth’s film ‘Parannu Parannu,’ Mridul Nair’s ‘Thattum Vellattam,’ and an untitled film by director M Padmakumar.
