Asif Ali: I used to get scripts rejected by Prithviraj and Indrajith once

Asif Ali has had a stellar career that has completed 10 years in 2019. The actor, who started off this year with Vijay Superum Pournamiyum, talks about his career so far.

, Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya would come to me and I would gladly accept them. For a long time, I was the only lion in the jungle. Then suddenly, others of my age burst into the scene, and people started writing scripts specifically keeping us in mind and most importantly, making use of us as actors. That was a big change, and it made me realise that I should see cinema much more seriously. So, with competition, I think all of us have been putting more effort and are also understanding the serious side of cinema," said Asif.
