‘Asthra’ release: Amith Chakkalakal’s investigative thriller to hit the big screens on September

Mollywood’s promising actor Amith Chakkalakkal will headline the upcoming film ‘Asthra, which will be hitting the big screens this September.

Earlier, the makers unveiled an intriguing trailer for ‘Asthra, which promises a gripping investigative thriller with stunning action sequences. The film follows the thrilling story of a group of police officers unveiling the mystery behind the mysterious Asthra's, or symbols. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn also plays a significant police officer character in the movie.

Helmed by the director Azaad Alavil, the script of ‘Asthra’ is penned by the writers Vinu K. Mohan and Jiju Raj. Mani Perumal will be capturing the visuals for this thriller movie, which has Akhilesh Mohan on the editing side and Shamjith Ravi in charge of the art department. The music of ‘Asthra’ is composed by Mohan Sithara, and the lyrics of the songs are written by Harinarayanan and Engandiyoor Chandrasekharan.

‘Asthra’ also features the actors Santhosh Keezhattur, Suhasini Kumaran, Renu Sounder, Abu Salim, and Sudheer Karamana in important roles.
