'Athibheekara Kaamukan' OTT release: When and where to watch Lukman Avaran starrer romantic comedy online

'Athibheekara Kaamukan' has now arrived on OTT without any big announcement. Earlier the film was released in theatres on November 14. At that time it received mixed reactions from the audience and the film had less anticipation from the audiences due to the lack of any star cast.The film stars Lukman Avaran in the lead role. He plays the character Arjun. Arjun joins Government College Chittur for his studies. During his college life he meets Anu. Anu is played by Drishya Raghunath. Slowly Arjun starts liking her. But he finds it very hard to say what he feels. He keeps everything inside his heart. This becomes his biggest problem. 'Athibheekara Kaamukan' mainly shows Arjun's emotional journey. The story moves through love, fun, sadness and hope. The trailer shows Arjun facing many truths about his life and his love. There are light moments and also painful moments. His fear of expressing love leads him into confusion and heartbreak. The film tries to mix romance with humour and emotional scenes. The film is directed by Gautham Thaniyil and CC Nithin. The supporting cast includes Irshad Ali Karthik and Manohari Joy. The screenplay is written by Sujai Mohanraj. Music and background score are composed by Bibin Ashok. Our ETimes review reads, "While a couple of scenes particularly the mother–son moments may tug at your heart they do little to make up for the film’s lack of groundedness. Unfortunately the repetitive drinking every night montage after the so called love failure feels like an unnecessary throwback to early 2000s Malayalam cinema. On the positive side Bibin Ashok’s tracks are genuinely enjoyable. Overall the film struggles to rise above weak characterisations and outdated tropes making it a disappointing watch despite its few emotional beats."The film started streaming on the evening of December 26.
