'Athiradi' box office collections day 3: Tovino Thomas and Vineeth Sreenivasan film grows 20%; crosses Rs 33.89 Cr worldwide

The film was screened across 1,841 shows on Saturday. This takes its total India net collection to Rs 15.42 crore and India gross to Rs 17.89 crore so far. Overseas markets added Rs 6 crore on Day 3, pushing the international total to Rs 16 crore. With this, the worldwide gross has reached Rs 33.89 crore within just three days of release.The film opened with early interest during its limited preview day on Wednesday, earning Rs 52 lakhs. It then saw a strong jump to Rs 5.55 crore on Thursday. Friday collections dipped slightly to Rs 4.25 crore, before recovering to Rs 5.10 crore on Saturday.Malayalam screenings recorded an overall occupancy of 45.08%. Night shows performed best with 62.42%, while evening shows stood at 52.67%.
