Talking exclusively to ETimes, the director Jay K too confirms that the film is a packed entertainer, “‘GRRR’ is a comedy entertainer.”

There have been several instances of people jumping into lion enclosure and some even mauled to death in the country. So have these incidents served as inspiration? “Yes. We have heard about many real incidents where people trespassed into wild cat enclosures in many zoos in various parts of the world including India. So that has sort of served as an inspiration for the story.”

The recently released teaser also gives a glimpse of the characters played by Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjarmaoodu. Divulging more about them, the director adds, “Kunchako Boban plays a man who trespasses into a lion’s enclosure in an inebriated state. Suraj Venjaramoodu has roped in as the security supervisor of the zoo.”

Jay K also reveals that a lion named MoJo from South Africa, known for working in Hollywood and Bollywood films is also part of the ‘GRRR’ cast.

When asked what the audience could expect in the cinemas, he adds, “Audiences can expect king-size entertainment from the film!”
