Biju Menon to play lead in Joshiy’s next?

Veteran director Joshiy, who had last directed Porinju Mariyam Jose, is reportedly teaming with scriptwriter Nishad Koya for his next directorial. According to rumours, Biju Menon has been eyed to play the lead in the film. According to a source close to the team, Biju Menon has been approached to play the protagonist in the movie. “He is, however, yet to read the script and give the nod,” says the source.

that will hit theatres on February 26. The movie also has Parvathy and Sharaf U Dheen. The teaser of the film had Biju Menon’s character in the get-up of an elder man with grey hair and beard. The film revolves around a couple played by Parvathy and Sharaf U Dheen who reach Kerala during the pandemic lockdown.

Biju Menon is also set to team up with director Sugeeth in the upcoming investigative thriller titled Thalayundu Udalilla. “It’s a crime investigative thriller with a lot of unique elements. For starters, the movie will be set in a different era. The title itself reflects the mood of the movie and it’s different from the films that I have done so far because this is a more serious subject,” said Sugeeth in an earlier interview with us, addin that the film is set in the ‘70s.

The actor plays a sub inspector named Soman Nadar in the film. “We have already decided on the look and it’s sure to surprise the audience,” said the director.
