‘C/O Saira Banu’ movie review highlights: A mom-son tale filled with conventional laughs and 'aww' moments

A mildly funny, heartwarming story about a cool mom and a teenage law student,

C/O Saira Banu

has quite a novel plot. Starring Manju Warrier, Amala Akkineni and

Shane

Nigam in pivotal roles, the film is 2 hours 35 minutes of duration.

Till the film breaks for interval, Manju Warrier gives a decent performance as Saira Banu, a postwoman. She tries her best to play an authentic Malappuram born woman in her thirties or forties, but the attempts at comedy often fall flat. Shane is convincing as a naïve law student.

The film does retain interest till the interval point with the emotional quotient and twist in the tale. What's in store post the break? Watch this space...
