CBI installment which is titled ‘CBI 5: The Brain’ is really high among the audience for all the right reasons. The first is the fact that the iconic investigation officer
Sethurama Iyer
is making his comeback and the second is the promise that the writer SN Swamy has given to the audience that the fifth installment will never disappoint them.
Now the director
K Madhu
has shared an exciting update on the film by announcing that the film’s final Dolby atmos mix and mastering is done and is all set to grand release worldwide on May 1, 2022.
The ‘CBI: 5’ director took to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture with the crew of the film from the mixing & mastering studio. Sharing the picture, K Madhu penned a note that read, “Ready to capture your minds. From the studio to your eyes. Worldwide release on May 1st.”
Earlier there were also reports that
Mammootty’s ‘CBI 5’ was censored with an R12 rating in Saudi Arabia. The report has not been officially confirmed by the makers.

With just hardly 4 days before the release, the fans are already thrilled at witnessing their favorite actor Mammootty stepping into the shoes of the iconic character Sethurama Iyer after a long gap.
The previously released trailer also soared up the expectation levels of the audience as it promises a new kind of mystery storyline coupled with some terrific performances from the leads. The trailer also showed a glimpse of the actor Jagathy Sreekumar as the character Vikram. The film will also feature the actors Mukesh, Saikumar, Kaniha, Renji Panicker, Anoop Menon, and Ramesh Pisharody in pivotal roles.
