Chila NewGen Nattuvisheshangal is a family movie

East Coast Vijayan directorial Chila NewGen Nattuvisheshangal is a romantic comedy drama that has Akhil Prabhakaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sivakami Anantha Narayan and Sonu Anna Jacob in the lead. Though the title has ‘new gen’ in it, the movie can be enjoyed by family audience too sans any worry, says the director. “The film offers a story presented with a good mix of hearty family relationships, romance and comedy, laced with quality music. I have always kept the family audience in mind during my projects and this too will be no different,” he says.

The director, who is also producing the film, introduces many newbies through this project. “I have introduced many new faces over years and have felt that it works well for many reasons. Unlike established actors, newbies hardly come with an ego and they would also be available to work as per our schedules. Moreover, I find the risk involved in the process quite thrilling,” says Vijayan.

Chila NewGen Nattuvisheshangal also has established actors like Nedumudi Venu, Noby, Biju Kuttan, Manikandan Subhi Suresh and others as part of its cast. Its music is by M Jayachandran and lyrics are penned by the director himself, and Santhosh Varma.
