cinema industry is also feeling the heat of the fatal disease, as many movies set to release this month are considering to change the scheduled release date.

Mohanlal's 'Neerali', Mammootty's 'Abrahaminte Santhathikal', Prithviraj and Parvati starrer 'My Story',

's 'Maradona', 'Theevandi' and Jayasurya's much-anticipated movie 'Njan Marykutty' are the main releases scheduled this month.

However, it was confirmed that the release date of 'Neerali' has been postponed. The new rescheduled release date is expected to be on July 12. 'Neerali' director Ajoy Varma has reportedly admitted that concern about ticket collection being affected by Nipah virus was taken into consideration. Meanwhile, the producer of Mammootty movie 'Abrahaminte Santhathikal', has confirmed that the movie will release on 16th of this month as per scheduled.

Other movies scheduled to release this month haven't confirmed yet about the change in release date and there are chances that some will change the release date if Nipah attack isn't contained.

Meanwhile other language movies including Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' and Hollywood movie 'Fallen Kingdom' will release as per scheduled on June 7.
