Tamil superstar Dhanush is riding high on success as his recent action-packed drama, 'Captain Miller,' continues to make waves at the Kerala box office. The film, directed by Arun Matheswaran, has surpassed the Rs 5 crore mark in Kerala, establishing itself as Dhanush's highest-grossing film in the region.
Furthermore, the movie has achieved remarkable success in Gulf regions, becoming the actor's highest-grossing film with an impressive Rs 4.40 crore.
'Captain Miller' has not only conquered the hearts of fans in Kerala but has also entered the prestigious Rs 100 crore club worldwide. The movie hit the big screens on January 12.
Set in the 1930s during the British Raj, the narrative of 'Captain Miller' revolves around a former British Army soldier's quest to save his home village from destruction by the British Army.
Directed by Arun Matheswaran, 'Captain Miller' is the first installment of a planned trilogy, featuring Dhanush in the titular role. The movie boasts a stellar cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Aditi Balan, Sundeep Kishan, Edward Sonnenblick, and John Kokken in supporting roles.
