Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer ‘Partners’ release postponed

The much-anticipated Malayalam film ‘Partners,’ featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role, has had its release date postponed. Initially slated to hit theaters on June 28, the makers have now confirmed that the film will be released on July 5.

The announcement was made through the film's official Instagram handle, where the team shared a post stating, "We are coming to entertain you from July 5... Mark the Date: July 5. Finally, partners, 'only in crime' is coming to theaters near you on July 5th. Come, watch, and get thrilled." The post included tags and mentions of the cast and crew, including Kalabhavan Shajohn, Aju Varghese, and Satna Titus, among others.

The delay appears to be due to the current congestion of films in theaters. With several movies, such as ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ and the recently released ‘Ullozhukku,’ performing well, the availability of screens might have been a challenge, though the makers have not provided an explicit reason for the postponement.

‘Partners’ revolves around Gramin Bank in Bedakam, Kasaragod. According to the latest poster, Kalabhavan Shajohn plays an investigator looking into a crime that occurred at the bank. Dhyan Sreenivasan portrays a bank employee entangled in the crime, showcasing a more serious side to his acting repertoire.

The film promises a gripping narrative, combining elements of crime and investigation, set against the backdrop of a rural bank. With Dhyan Sreenivasan taking on a more intense role and Kalabhavan Shajohn leading the investigation, ‘Partners’ aims to deliver thrilling drama.
