Tovino Thomas' epic film Ajayante Randam Moshanam was produced on a surprisingly modest budget of just Rs 30 crores. In an industry where grand period dramas often come with hefty price tags, this Malayalam film stands out for its efficient use of resources with the lowest budgets.

During an earlier interview with Behindwoods, Tovino Thomas revealed the budgetary details, noting how the film managed to achieve high production values despite the financial constraints. The film’s budget is notably lower compared to similar genre films in other languages, which often surpass this figure.


Co-star Krithi Shetty also expressed her astonishment at how the film’s grand scale, including its extensive 3D effects and CGI work, was realized within this budget. This makes ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ not only a significant entry in Tovino Thomas's career but also an example for effective budget management in the Malayalam film industry.

Previously, Tovino's film ‘Minnal Murali' had a budget of around Rs 18 crores, but ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam' surpassed it, making it Tovino’s most expensive film to date.
