Dileep and Shubharathri-director Vyasan's friendship go way back

childhood friends

though this is their first film together, the actor revealed in a recent interview with a portal.

“We never spoke to each other about our film dreams. It seemed beyond touching distance. I felt people would mock me if I said I wanted to do films, so I never articulated the thought,” said Dileep, adding Vyasan had been a close friend, in good times and bad.

“When he told me the story, I asked him who he intended to feature in it and he would name different options, till I said that I would do it,” said the actor.
