Dilieep to star in Rafi's 'Voice of Sathyanadhan'

Director Rafi and Dilieep (formerly Dileep) have collaborated in the past for many hit comedy films including Punjabi House, Pandippada and Thenkasippattanam.

After about seven years, the duo is back together again to do a comedy drama. The film is titled

Voice of Santhyanadhan

, in which Dilieep plays the lead role.

Rafi tells us more, “This film handles a serious subject, just that its treatment would be wrapped in humour. There won’t be any scenes lined up just for the sake of comedy.” The director says Dilieep’s Sathyanadhan is a rustic youngster, who is also an entrepreneur. “ He does the business of old furniture. He is a common man, but is also someone who speaks to make others happy. This story shows an incident that happens in his life.

fame Veena Nandakumar plays the heroine in the film,” Rafi says, hinting they are also working on giving Dilieep a particular look in the movie. Joju George, Siddique and Johny Antony are also part of the film.

The film’s shoot will begin in Ernakulam in the first week of October. “We will also be shooting in Palakkad, Delhi and Mumbai,” adds the director.
