Dileep’s 150th film titled ‘He and She’; actor to play a double role

Mollywood's 'Janapriya Nayakan' Dileep gears up to commemorate a significant milestone in his illustrious career with his much-anticipated 150th film, 'He and She', charting an intriguing narrative scripted by Raffi.

Contrary to earlier speculations about Basil Joseph helming the milestone venture, Dileep clarified in an interview with Club FM that it's Raffi who will be at the scripting helm for this remarkable project.


Delving into the details, Dileep disclosed that 'He and She' will witness him portraying a compelling dual role, embodying both a father and his son within the storyline. With the ensemble cast shaping up, the film will feature acclaimed actors Mamta Mohandas and possibly Nyla Usha in prominent female roles, adding further depth to the narrative.

The actor shed light on the ongoing discussions surrounding the film, indicating that the project is currently in the initial stages of development.

Reflecting on his previous cinematic outing in 'Bandra', directed by Arun Gopy and scripted by Udayakrishna, Dileep encountered mixed reception, facing criticism despite his earnest efforts. The movie marked the acting debut of Tamannaah Bhatia in Mollywood.

With 'Thankamani', an action-packed drama directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan, lined up as his next cinematic offering, Dileep is set for his grand comeback in the year 2024.
