‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’ release date: Mammootty starrer to hit the big screens on THIS date!

After a series of horror, drama, and action films, megastar Mammootty is all set to entertain audiences with the upcoming investigative comedy film ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’. According to the latest update, Gautham Vasudev Menon’s directorial will hit the big screens in January.

Mammootty shared the release date update of the film via his Twitter handle. Sharing a new poster from ‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’, the actor penned a Tweet that read, “Happy New Year Everyone ! #DominicandTheLadiesPurse in Cinemas Worldwide on January 23 , 2025.”

The Tweet was soon flooded with comments from fans. One comment read, “Wish you and your family a Happy New Year mammukka.” Another comment read, “Happy New Year big M Wishing you joy, success, and peace.” A third one commented, “Happy new year ikka.”


‘Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse’ marks the directorial debut of the Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mammootty will be playing a Sherlock-style character in the film, laden with humor elements. Earlier the makers shared a teaser for the film featuring Mammootty and Gokul Suresh as the main detective and his assistant. The teaser promised an interesting mix of comedy and investigation.


The screenplay of the film is penned by Neeraj Rajan, Sooraj Rajan and Gautam Vasudev Menon, and the cinematography is done by Vishnu Dev. The editing section of this investigative comedy film is done by Anthony and the music is composed by Darbuka Siva.


With an interesting mix of comedy and thrills, along with a Sherlock inspired character played by Mammootty, affectionately called as Mammukka, the expectations are quite high as the film is hitting the big screens on January 23.
