Dulquer Salmaan about his bond with Pranav Mohanlal: Our lives are quite different

Malayalam actors Dulquer Salmaan and Pranav Mohanlal may not have done any films together, but their off-screen bond is strong. Recently during the promotions for his upcoming film ‘Lucky Baskhar’, DQ revealed that he and Pranav Mohanlal never had grown-up men conversation.

During a chat with Galatta Plus, Dulquer Salmaan shared about his childhood memories with Pranav Mohanlal who is much younger than him.

“When I was in 9 to 10th class, I always used to go and play with Pranav and his cousins who are of his age. We never had sat down and had grown-men conversation,” says the ‘Lucky Baskhar’ actor.

Dulquer Salmaan also said that he and Pranav Mohanlal are quite different as the latter is very ‘outdoorsy’. DQ said, “Our lives are also quite different; he’s very outdoorsy, and I love that he’s living life on his own terms.”

Compared to other celebrities Pranav Mohanlal is not very active on social media and whenever his films get released, it’s Dulquer Salmaan who shares them on social media upon Pranav’s mother Suchitra Mohanlal’s request, showcasing his bond with the ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’ actor and his family.

Meanwhile, the fans are eagerly waiting for any potential collaboration between Pranav and Dulquer Salmaan in any upcoming projects.

On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan confirmed his return to Mollywood soon. The actor revealed during a recent promotional event that his next projects in Malayalam are with the directors Nahas Hidayath, Soubin Shahir, and a debut director. Dulquer’s most awaited film ‘Lucky Baskhar’ is all set to hit the big screens on October 31.
